Losing yourself in another
letting down your guard
taking a chance
free falling into life
hope bright in your eyes
I stand back and watch
as you put yourself back together
one piece at a time
an audible click with each link
creating a whole new you
what to do when you’ve found yourself
stand tall stand proud
announce to the world that you’re whole again

yet still alone
you will never be whole
until you risk loving another
giving that whole person over
heart and soul invested
a quest for life
your quest for happiness
once again just a myriad of pieces
you learn to match together
never knowing the outcome
there’s no picture to follow
no one to hold your hand

only when you’re ready
will you fall into love
fall into life
feel complete as a woman
happy as a person
I stand back and watch
you’re evolution
constantly changing and discovering
the wonders of the world
yours for the taking
only if you desire
hold it in the palm of your hand
gaze upon it
feel it’s powers
accept you’re the pieces that make up the universe
