I feel myself changing inside, wonder if it's for the better
like growing comes the pain, confusion as my world expands
once I thought I knew myself, clarity has brought the truth
never fully understood, my life a road of revelations

confusion, that black pit in the bottom of my existence
A loss of myself, veil cloaking my eyes
cold hand over my mouth, smothering my light away
the world unattainable, just beyond my fingertips
always slipping ever further and further away
try to gasp for breath but it cinches me even tighter

part of my evolution, my souls revolution
accepting the limits of my power
my body, spirit, soul, my whole being
centering within myself, leaving the world
looking within at the wonders of me
acceptance a cure for confusion
fill that black pit, lift that cold hand from my face
breath in the purest air I've ever tasted
open my eyes to a new light
possibly in my ever changing world
a spring of hope, eternal change
love, harmony, happiness
mine to tap, sip slowly
live my life to the fullest
