boom boom boom
inside my head
an anvil rings out
each time my heart beats
boom boom boom

kaboom kaboom kaboom
inside my heart
emptiness rings out
each time my anvil sounds
kaboom kaboom kaboom

back and forth they go
war raging inside me
who will win
who will die
only I will ever know
