I take another swig of the bottle
thoughts awhirling through my head
I reach up to grasp one
like a butterfly it slips through my fingertips
mesmerized I gaze at them
unnattainable yet still they hold beauty
my life just a series of these
creating an intricate pattern
grief, despair, hope, love
interwoven silk flowing through my fingertips
one day I will hold the end
everything will fall into place
lay my bottle down
as I meet myself for the first time

I laid that bottle down years ago...still discovering things, wondering what to do next. When I try to catch insects I usually squish them:P...sad you think you need to be at the end of your silk to meet you though

alcoholic. (just kidding) bottles can be fun to talk to at times. the liquid inside can sometimes really bring things together. I like this. I like the way it's worded. -Oz
