to my beautiful man
who loves me for who I am
little does he know
those qualities make me glow
I accused of going through the motion
not accepting his unquestioning devotion
armed with my lack of trust
my faithlessness through his heart I thrust
yet not wanting him to depart
oh baby this is just the start
how I pray to my moon and stars
that he doesn't wander very far
for my love is true and deep
and his devotion I intend to keep
