Tonight a west wind blows,
and the Autumn leaves scatter
to the far corners of the world.
The moon is a huge and luminous beauty
that reveals every emotion on your naked face.
On a night like this there is no hiding your truths.
I wanted proof that you were like me,
human and hiding from the instincts that we contain within.

I smile and act gracious,
but I want to wipe those smug smiles off their faces.
I want to scream at them,
and revel at the terror I induce.
I see you across the way from me,
shivering in the cold.
I want to wrap you tight in my arms
and sing you a lullaby.
I want to unwrap your clothes
and play a savage tune upon your body.

I feel my bones ache for you,
for your touch.
For your warm breath on my neck.

I do not know you, but I know who you are.
You are iron and fire and everything that smolders.
I am drawn to you like a moth to a flame.
I am bound to you,
like the rose to the thorns that make flesh bleed.
I would like to introduce myself.
I am earth and power and the eternal flame.
We will fit together well, you and I.
I feel it, in my core,
deep within this soul of mine.
This soul that is yearning for you.

You look my way - I smile.
We stare, hungry.
And as you slowly walk your way to me
across the fog capped ground,
my heart takes flight,
simmering in the thought
of where this night will take us.
