As seasons change so does my mood
In the spring I am so aware..
of the ever-changing moon.
A glow so tranquil forever I envision..
But soon dims along with my attitude.
That hanging cloud always nearby..
Threatening to rain on my sweet high.
I feel myself begin to change, inside
I am waiting. A new start for you, to see..
And yet we will stay the same.
As we approach the stifling heat of the summer
I feel you longing for my cool touch
and as we weld our lives together..
I know it is a short-lived rush.
That hanging cloud always nearby
Begging to drop in on my sweet life.
And again we watch the fall quickly
Turning into that bitter cold
and the time goes by more slow
and still I wait for you ... alone.
I feel myself change, I'm waiting......
A new start. To see yet we remain the same.
