symbols blooming black and grey
forms the hand for my minds portrayal
a decoration for
my unfinished body of work.
scattered idea fragments lead me to
shattered skeletons buried in
my closet of dreams
often times
my clock unwinds
alarming my senses;
finishing sentences I have yet begun
guided by beams of light
lost inside a spinning maze
enter slowly,
proceed with caution
singing songs passing
ambulances sing
street lights find me laying
on sidewalks that couldn't support
the burden I present them
melt down statues for nickel bullets
fight an uphill battle for freedom
grassy plains of
wheat and grain
hide the candlestick and rope
and helps us to
get a clue
quit searching for depth
take this at face value
