a curved 2 inch sheet of glass
shields my head through a gaping hole of space.
carbon dioxide fogs my vision
as I lay supported by
a lack of gravity.
My body: lifeless and imprisoned from
the overabundance of opportunity that surrounds me.
Heat consumes my limbs
and the death of a star is born.
The light of heaven beems past
and I am guided by
strips of blue and red.
I crack a smile knowing
I finally found my path.
I close my eyes and dream;
instantly my soul is warped
and my body rips to pieces.
