ever pass
a second chance on romance?
As you walk,
street lights die,
you become my guiding light.
You lift me up into the night,
carry me through my dreams,
Leaving me every morning.

With something to look forward to
when I sleep,
it's something I couldn't do;
walk through the darkness to find you.
So I wish upon my shoulders,
and carry the weight of burden.

Never stay too far away,
I am leaving you with another side of me:
a similar tone and a lighter personality.

When I Wake,
anticipating the sight of your pearly white smile, and
having everything I need right next to me.
I fall into the empty space left by your vacancy
and to think, you were only a dream.
