A prophecy spoke to me
through day dreams and
an overdose of morphine
He told me:

It's not the right time,
it's not the right place.

But now that we're apart
it hurts just like it did yesterday.
Through past experiences,
I'm prepared to make it through and keep moving on.

But if the memories keep playing like broken records,
I'll drink till they drown.
And if the memories stick to the back of my mind,
I'll blow 'em away,
no one's safe till the smoke fades.

I bless you my dear,
you will be coming around again someday.

a nice poem, but your titles are always out of context, why is that?...-l-

Because I normally don't title pieces that I write.. so I make up titles that I like for them. Some are properly titled, but very few I actually name.

You had my attention as soon as the word morphine appeared on the screen. Haha. I did like this, because I could feel something from it, something I can't describe. Awesome job. Adding to favs.
