let's fall asleep and ride the dream
sudden turn and it all comes around again.
pressed against the guard rail brings me back into reality.
fell asleep on broken dreams.
slid into another nightmare.
wrapped up in summer's creek,
upside down and quickly sinking.
a struggle for survival.
reaching out for one last breath.
trying to break free and escape the fire.
this failing attempt leaves me to ponder.
should I lay back and accept my fate?
just let me rest in hell
and burn in peace.

it could be the emphasis of a song maybe; or adapted out, it felt as though it could follow that suit - maybe?

This started and ended completely differently then I thought it would. Very raw. Nice.
