You've got your lies
I've got my pen and paper
You've got your convictions
And I've got my trial
No one would convict me once the truth is spoken
Now go drown in your self pity

You got your girl
I got my smile
Difference is mine will never leave me
You got your sex and perfect situation
I got my hand and creative imagination
You got your apologies and regrets to live with
I've got my faith and dreams to sleep with
You're thankful for the memories of better times that passed
I've found my misery framed in our photograph
Goodbye

Zen, being as it is that he's quite the political writer, I'm sure he knows about checks and balances :D. Off that note, though, this was absolutely mindblowingly good. The best one of yours I think I've read yet. KEEP WRITING!
