adjacent names staring reflections into my memory
shadows couldn't hide the fact
my smile glows well beyond my years

I hit the freeway and paid the price of liberty
Knowing I won't hold my barriers,
burying hurt inside my pockets

turning time counterclockwise with my stories:
Could I tell you the truth,
I am as scared as a kid with one wish

Sidewalks become roads to parks in paradise
the weather changes as I lose myself in your eyes
Our breath thickens

I gasp one last deep breath of your scent as you walk away
Writing your name on train windows; I try hold back my grin
But could I ever really lie in the first place?
you excite me :)
