you may recall old memories
but there won't be a dial tone

I found my way back home
but I can't recognize any roads
it's a different place it seems
different faces, different scenes.

or is my future preparing me with present events?

when I close my eyes I see light
and then I open them wide to darkness.

my only conclusion is
there is nothing better potential
