I thought I loved you
But I was wrong
It was just the look you gave me John
Your crooked smile
Your sparkly eyes
All your sordid lullabies

I thought I needed you
But what a lie
It was just the touch you gave me Guy
So gentle
So sweet
So invasively deep

I thought it was forever
But it wasn’t fate
It was just the time you gave me Nate
Your impressive kisses
Intense penetrating bliss’s
Consumed in all our silly, childish wishes

I thought maybe I was finally done in
Enough of my incredible indelible sin
It must just be the promises you give me Jim
So honest
Sincere
Shit, I give it a year…here I go again

repetition with a difference... and the properties of a circle well presented, there is pie here somewhere. Insert some body here... to the point and eternal.

The thoughts of one are very deep. Though through life, a chance is given. In this case, poetry is a chance. Well written.

hehehe... when I find my song on single mama dating blues, I invite you to howl with me...and hell, you are optimistic!
