In this place I lost my soul
Frozen within this empty hole
Tortured by an angry grin
Forced to face this pain within
I left you once
I can do it again

But still I find my sadness here
My ignorant
Selfish
Tormenting fear

Questioning whether I can rise above
As I crave this touch
And need this love

Letting go I have left to learn
So I accept this ache
And ignore the burn

As much as I need to say goodbye
Greater is the need
To live this lie

I loved this one, nice raw emotion and sorrowful overtone. A 10 For A Great Write!

The simplicity of the words hiding complex feelings and confused emotions. Great stuff.

Seems like a theme that runs through DP, that we love to keep hanging on, despite our long term interests. --the need, being human, to feel loved..and at what costs? Well put.
