I found you here at the bottom of this bottle
I knew I would, that is why I drank
I thought I had lost you, but here you are
At the bottom
The end
This twisted version of me
This is the only time you seem to want me
The only time you let me in
Here at the bottom
Here at the end
This twisted version of reality
A quiet whisper kept me sane
But I am loosing my grip
I am starting to care
Wanting you near me
Not caring the state of which we find each other
Just needing to find
Just needing you
Shame on me for being so weak
Numbing my way down the path of resistance
Realizing I have resisted nothing
Damn my soul... damn this bottle

What a fantastic write. All i could picture is someone peeking into an empty liquor bottle seeing if there was anything left. Nice one.

it's six in the morning, i'm still up after work and I read this, all I can think, is maybe looking into the bottem of a different brand's bottle will result in something different.

but then again, hangovers make me wish i'd looked in a water bottle. I suggest a ketchup bottle then, good day.

one can find anything at the bottom of an empty bottle... no? But you find more than most...I always damn my bottles for being empty...and only that emptiness fills me. Cheers! for a probing write; can I have another?

I give you props. It is rather hard to find something that seems to explain the way I feel and the things that I want so much to do. This just fit it so perfectly. Bravo.
