The foundation of a relationship
Is built from the trust
The walls are built from the faith
The rooms are built with the love
With each lie the foundation is cracked
Every intent to deceive a door is locked

What you think the shadows hide
The windows reflect
Be careful what you build your
House with
An unsteady foundation
Will come crashing down on
You when you least expect it

You've spoken in this poem with words only all too true. the three most important ingredients of a lasting relationship, and if but one is missing, you've only built a house of cards and are waiting for a sudden wind. good poem
