You stand behind me
as these words slowly
leave my pen.

The soft touch of the unknown
Or am I sinking
into another illusion?

What would it be like to
sit without the noise
and have your arms around
me my thoughts have become
my comfort.

To share my silence with you
"SHHH" can you hear it?

I've found a new understanding
of what two souls
intertwined can be.

The time, the space, a loss,
a gain and all the seconds
in between are absorbed
in this change.

Each step closer carries with it
a lesson learned the steps
drain the fear and dull the pain

Alone lingering
in the entrance
of what appears to be an
open door.

A shift in who I
am becoming and you
always remain
Where?
