When you are lost in the dark do you try and seek out what will bring that flame to life? In a room filled with echoes of what life is and what it could be the memories of the past and the premonitions of the future will race through your soul as the shadows silently sit waiting for you to fall. You feel trapped in one reality while another cries out for you to bring it to life and you ponder which way to run.

When you can no longer take the spinning, you will plant your feet flat on the ground and face letting go of the things that bring you comfort in order to prove your own worth to the world. If you stop to consider another’s feelings you may end up feeling desperate and alone.

This is where it will crumble down around you, this is when you pick yourself up and make the change. You will be alone dangling from that string with the darkness creeping in. You will then know what you did was try and live in both worlds.

In the end you have to be willing to give it all up just to see the other side even if no one is there when you get there. But you should carry with you the thought that you traveled there on light feet and everything you choose to say good-bye to was on your own terms.

When you see greatness in other people its a gift; however, when you do not have the self-confidence in yourself it makes it harder to live a true life with a light soul. In your search many people will cross your path some will know you will always be there for them but what makes them so sure?

You should not reach for things unless you are ready to really grab them and the end is always the beginning of a new story.

Too me this seems like much too smart of a love poem for just a dumb man. It would have to be given to a rather smart man that you have a special bond with. It's a neat little write. I would cry if my love gave it to me.
