 Concurrent with the reality
 that surrounds us
 we dodge the
 swinging pendulum of time

 We walk the worn path
 with tired feet and the
 broken pieces of our
 hearts

 In search of the unknown
 with our safe places
 in tow and our souls
 dangling on the chains

 Around and around
 in life's revolving
 door only for it to
 spit us out

 In the same place
 just to watch us
 start all over
 again......

 Concurrent with the reality
 that surrounds us
 we dodge the
 swinging pendulum of time

I really liked the second and third to last stanzas. Nothing seems more frustrating than "square one". ~Urban Shipwreck~

The refreshing things about your poems are they are not like a lot of the others on this site, full of o' poop, you write with a great sense of what the world is. I respect that. I think what I said made sense too?

Great poem. One question, though, does the dick silence the mouth, or does the mouth keep the dick in Sunday School for all of eternity?

Depends come over here and let me see your mouth because with one like that I doubt your allowed in Sunday School =) thx for the comment....
