Once suspended by the light she is now
Descending through the darkness.
What she felt would carry her home
Has carried her to that place
In her soul in which she tired to escape
Only moments ago

The reflection in the mirror is beyond
Her grasp of reality
She is a figment of her own imagination

She can see the pendulum swinging
But her mind has not decided if she
Is running out of time or against it

He once walked circles in her mind
She is too dizzy to remain suspended
In his orbit

She once said to look at him
Makes her cry and cry she does
To touch him makes her weak
Look at her as her knees buckle
And she falls to the floor

And loving him has caused
A gap in her conception of
Time?..

Kind of reminds me of being suspended, as a baby in your mothers womb. Safe, happy, content, until the process of birth spits you unto the horrid world to face your future.

When in the embrace of love time ceases to exist and the world around you seems to fly by at light speed. You captured this well. Good write
