What would you give
To see me again?
What would I do
To touch your face?
How long could we wait
Til our lips would touch?
Til our souls would combine
In a heated embrace?
I know I can wait
Til the oceans boil
I know I can wait
Until the world ends
But if I could now
I'd hold you so close
And kiss you as if
On you my life depends
I don't know how long it'll take
All I know is my heart's
Breaking
Til I touch your lips
And I speak your name
And I see your eyes
Outside of a picture frame
Til I feel your arms
Around me again
And I see your smile
Outside of a picture frame
We have our ways
Of keeping in touch
We contact by mail
We talk on the phone
But it's not enough
When night's shadows fall
And I'm cold in my bed
Hungry and alone
I wish that the time
Til we meet again
Would rush by until
The day you arrive
And then may the time
Slow down to a crawl
Let me treasure the moments
That make me feel alive
I don't care how long it takes
All I know is my heart's
Breaking
Til I hear your voice
As you speak my name
And I see your eyes
Outside of a picture frame
Til you kiss my lips
Again and again
And I see your smile
Outside of a picture frame
Outside of a picture frame
Outside of a picture frame
