Its days like today
when my mind goes silent
And my words cant manifest
themselves to me
I thank my lucky stars
I have my guitar
and the melodies I find
lost in its strings

I do my best
to make it sing
Combine rhythm and chord
to reach harmony
Or sometimes if
Im sad or angry
I find my release
in making it scream

Im not the most talented
my knowledge isn't great
But for the talent that I don't have
my passion compensates
Knowledge isn't hard
its not about how much you know
Its how you use what you know
how much you understand

"it's not about how much you know/It's how much you use what you know/how much you understand" Great ending to a wicked write. I loved the simplicity of the way you conveyed the message.

Makes me want to pick up my pain meds, replace strings my electric guitar and annoy the hell out of my two-faced neighbor.
