You Threw Me Away

Its like a tingling sensation
and then you go numb
And the moment escapes you
but its etched in stone
Because the memories
will always be there
The hurt the rage
the lonely despair

It was a flawless deception
masked perfectly with lies
I didn't want to believe it
until I saw with my own eyes
It was an empty feeling
it felt like nothingness
After the anger passed
and the pain set in

Then as if all of this
wasn't enough
You asked me for my
forgiveness
You apologized
with lying eyes
But I wont take you back
no not this time

It hurts to bad
to bad to cry
And you would do it again
thats the reason why
You ask me what now
and I say I don't know
I guess we go our separate ways
and try to move on

You only want me now
because now you cant have me
You had me once remember
you threw me away
