I thought about you
the other day
Really everyday
oh how things can change

Sometimes I feel
lost inside
Wish you were here
I could use your advice

I've missed you so much
since you passed away
You died in my arms
it was my saddest of days
I cried so hard
my tears I could taste
I watched you fight a battle
in a losing race

I like to remember you
when you were healthy and strong
like when you would sing "Turn The Page"
your favorite song
I miss sitting with you
and you telling jokes
Or when we would watch T.V.
mostly Gunsmoke

You were a mentor to me
You were my idle
Even now when I think about you
it makes me smile

Because I love you..I pick on you! "I watched fight a battle in a losing race"--should there be a "you" in here. Made me stumble.
