"The Cold Is Somehow Warming" by LOKI

Deception comes first
Deceit shortly after
Bad intentions are always
disguised with laughter

When is the last time
you've tasted your tears
From crying all night
until your eyes are sore
You try to understand
what you've become
You dont like
who you are anymore

You would hold chaos
in the palm of your hand
Observe it and give
your point-of-view
Try to unravel
the mystery it holds
Then let it become
a part of you

In your eyes I see
a sea of hate
A hurricane
with out a warning
The heart you know
is truely cold
But,you find the cold
Is somehow warming

I like the on-rhyme, off-rhyme beat this has to it. And the message...the message is wonderful, that despite the cold...it's sometimes a welcome relief. ~*Beth*~
