How hard must you try
before you can succeed
When the obstacles in life
are more than they seem
Some pressures that we
Put upon ourselves
Can make our lives
in time a living hell
You work and you slave
day in and day out
And slowly your body
begins to break down
So then you grow old
a monthly check in the mail
Enough to survive
and barely support yourself
At the end your confused
it all happend so fast
What seemed only yesterday
is now long past
Now you understand time
and how precious it is
A sad lullabye to sing in death
