She Sets There
hands crossed
Glaring at her son
Once Loved,Now Lost
Trying to Stay Strong
Fake Smiles and
Broken hopes for
a child with no future

A new hope rises up
But,Quickly it descends
A complicated life
a tired heart hers is

Her eyes upon her child
the touch of a mothers hand
She wants to see her son
grow to be a man

She knows the time will come
when he has to go
A mother struggles hard
she knows she must let go
