Delicate, transparent drapes
Project the illusion
Words mislead, deceive the mind
Creating the delusion

(If I turn aside
If I walk away
I won't see your eyes
I won't hear what you say)

Incandescent dialogues
Baited with temptation
Penentrate all reason
With malicious incantation

(If I cut out my eyes,
If I gouge out my ears,
I'll never hear the lies,
I'll never shed the tears)

Reflections mock realities
Frustrations fulminate
Passion's desire feeds the fire
As we love the thing we hate
