The day draws near, you will be free
And clear, no tears.
You came to me, so unexpectedly, you see?
Can’t just let you be.
Such a need you had, nearly drove me
Mad, likely lad.

He’s not quite a man, but driving close.
Make your mistakes, do what it takes, but
Remember who you are. Just b the best
You can be without losing sight of me.

What direction to take, decisions to make.
Feeling you can’t shake.
Love your driving force, use it, of course.
Pray no remorse.
I take your pan into me, nothing to gain.
Your rage and rain.

He’s not quite a man, but driving close.
Make your mistakes, do what it takes, but
Remember who you are. Just b the best
You can be without losing sight of me.

The circle of life wanes for me, waxes for you.

(A song for my son, Julian)

I absolutely LOVE the line, The circle of life wanes for me, waxes for you. Hunny, you're the shit, do you know that?
