What is real? Desperate to understand,
The pain, the joy, of another man.
What is false? And does it matter?
Life leaving, come back, shatter.

My soul is leaving me now,
With animated body divine.
Will you chase it for me?
I will give it to you.

My heart is leaving me now,
With animated love divine.
Will you fall on it for me?
I’ll tear it for you.

My thoughts are fleeing now,
With animated concept divine.
Will you grasp them for me?
This I will keep.

What is real? Desperate to understand,
The pain, the joy, of another man.
What is false? And does it matter?
Life leaving, come back, shatter.
