Alone in a world of fools
Does no one understand
The water parts, no one is there
Imagine a dream bursting
Millions of tiny apathetic pieces
Scattered to infinity, this can’t be real
I can feel the eyes of the uneducated
They see only thru ignorance
How painful for them, they shall never see
There is a dimming light far off
It grows dimmer day by day
I don’t beckon or call for it, but
It follows me, closer yet dimmer
It is the light of wisdom, I want it
I can not reach, my sight is to short
Blame it on no one, it is no one’s fault
But my own, morals dull the aching in my brain
Blessed ignorance of my soul

we live in a time, that to not know, is a blessed retreat, a sweet release, and sometimes, the ones that don't want to know of suck pain will never get it, when 'WE' suddenly fall away from the world of hated.....a world of ignornace
