Buy me, own me, use me, go ahead
I’m bought and paid for, go ahead
Do whatever you wish, go ahead
I no longer matter

In love with my shiny things
But what a price to pay
Take comfort in a ring
An acquired taste

What a lovely large home
Many walls form my prison
All painted so pretty
Sometimes I forget

What happens when you leave
Nowhere to go from here
My superficial shell
Never to be filled

Crushing and it reminds me of a song "Look what I've built. It shines so beautifully. Now watch as it destroys me..." Great work.
