I hope one day I return to that lake

A boy lay there dreaming of feelings

Longing to find the one who frees

Happiness was surely to be found in love

Then they all came and went

Beautiful creatures of natures perfect creation

I held each of them once forming relations

But in the end we hurt each other

We parted ways and found another lover

Growing weary I am of natures poisoned relationships

I have never felt love described to me in chapters

And now the laughter ceases again

Yet I have a new desire

I long to be that boy by the lake again

Because only then would I not know the truth of what love has become to me

Wow this was outstanding. I to wish to be back in long ago days of love when nothing but the world not wanting to slow down brought me down. Thank you for sharing this.
