She needs him like she needs her anti depressors,
He’s a ray of artificial light, a disposable protector,
He sees her as a heart shaped hole,
A lipsticky inflatable doll…

On the path of electronics and electricity,
They walk hand in hand aimlessly,
Together, yet so very alone,
Singing silently, always on the same tone.

They’re the lovers of today, they have no tomorrow,
Promises of a week, a night, phrases they borrow,
Phrases they heard, that they monotonously repeat,
Like a childhood song, same notes same beat…

Of industrial passion they’re the creators,
With glucose and acidity regulators,
With nature-identical feelings and synthetic commitment,
They live their plastic lives the way it’s the most convenient,

Lovers of today, blind, dull and shallow,
Lovers of today, they hold no tomorrow…

great poem, and it tells of the stupid relationships that arise today. People are to insecure with themselves to find someone who's right and they can get along with for the rest of their lives. Stupid, disgusting divorces.
