I hear dead children call my name
"No one was there,
when daddy played that dirty game
No one was there"

I hear dead children cry out loud
"We were archangels
But we fell from the highest cloud,
we were archangels"

I hear dead children cut their arms
"No one was there
To keep us away and safe from harm
No one was there"

I hear them, in daylight and in my sleep,
The abused children.
I hear them, from their grave they'll always weep,
The abused children.

I hear dead children sing to me,
Their lyrics are filled with sadness,
I hear their hurtful melody,
Each note if filled with pain.

I hear dead children call my name,
"No one was there,
To dry our tears and wipe our shame,
And we wonder

Why were WE here, to recieve the hits,
We had no shell against the fists,
We just had our illusions, and our skin
To cut to let out this pain within.

We did dream of the light, in vain,
We just had our tears and life to drain,
Alas! Death was clement, and welcomed us,
Alas! For we had no one else to trust."

I wish I could say I liked this, because it is well written, but it's hard to actually like something so sad. It pains to know that things like this happen...so again, wonderfully written, tragically true. Good job.
