How many people searched in vain for the hidden land of eldorado! This land which streets and mountains are strewn with diamonds and pure gold… But for me Eldorado represents knowledge and true Love. Real Love, the one that hurts you from deep inside your soul. Love that makes you see beyond the appearances and flesh. When the flesh becomes the way to cherish the spirit, the soul of your Beloved, just an envelope protecting the real treasure… But alas such love is hard to find. When you know that even if the chosen one was disfigured you would still see him as the most beautiful being in the world, this love that can’t be spoiled by years or senseless temptations. When the beauty your eyes see is just a reflection of the internal beauty. External beauty is ephemeral and meaningless! But this true love lies on things that are here to stay: These little things that compose this person, every little thing, even if some of them may upset you sometimes. This person becomes a part of yourself, you carry her in your thoughts forever, and I believe that when we talk about love that remains beyond death, it’s when the soul of the deceased one is still living in the body of her other half.
I think that once you met your soul mate, you may love other people, but it will always be mortal love, mere attraction, and you will always seek in this person what you found in the one who possesses your heart forever…
