Why do I crave green eyes?
Like anything in this life
Pain is too much inside
The power of joy has its price
It wrenches and twists your stomach
For once an adult
Chords become knotted
Innocence is never regained
Dream deprivation screams
And the battle between
Silent into a haunted voice unknown
A heart tortured dark
Hallucina-figures appear in surround
A taut mind seeking bliss
Wild-eyed open-mouths
Orchestrating within the tunnels
Make zero sound
Chambers of the brain
Underpinned by the forgotten pain
Of childhood memories
Hidden away
