The light abstracted
Your soul it tilts
The fingertip lilt
Towards lips
Of taut perfection

And your eyes
They never shone so sweet
As they did in steely midnight zeal
I dived straight in
We both did
And the moment and its beyond
Magic

ahhh....sweet bliss bloody magic! The reason this poem works is because it lives such a lingering feel, such as you (the reader) continue where the writer left off, the idea of going on, loving...deep into the night - magical poem with a timeless sweep; magic magic magic!
