Pass a light
my pen's gone cold
and my imagination's
taken leave
with that tease
of a muse
and I'm left confused
alone and uninspired..
Purple hearse slowly
inches to pass
library made of
window mirror glass
the shatter
the wood smash
coffin scattered on
twinkling pavement ground
Someone sneezes
"Make a wish,"
the whisper comes
spirit air smile
the score is known
A single pallbearer
lifts and carries me
from the back of the hearse
carries me
places me
Bound in heart
my flesh
paper
words
my veins
flowing passion
a lifetime's story
no corpse
could ever tell
my girl
lays down a flower
with a glint
in her eye
just like mine
soul snap
I take
the dream flower
fuse it to pen
and spark with life
once more
