As I take the next day optimistically
Seeing my world's view bright, visually
I walk these streets as whispers of vain follow
So they snare and cut their words so shallow

As the talk goes on polluting the telephone lines
From city wide, now county, in the mirror I hide
Reflecting back a sadness I've never known before
For it's a road already taken, a row already hoed

Screaming through the streets of the unjust would only content their hearts
It's at a place that splits the soul and spirit apart
All the more dramatic I make it by sontaneous thoughts
Keeping in mind the things present that spoil and rot

Socialites parade me then brush me off their sleeve
As if I'm no more than an unworthy legend with a prudent disease
