You see me broken
Softly I have spoken
Words that seem to have no meaning
Touch me, in this life I've got to be dreaming
Because the coldness of your breath
Freezes the rest
Of my being that stands with a plastic smile
Holding my plastic heart all the while
I told you it hurt but you said it was mere words
Oh, how if I could take your hurt away I would
But life doesn't allow me to carry that weight
So I stand in this frozen state
Icesickles crystalize in my mind
But time sweet time is so kind
And the sun will shine upon me once more
And melt away my dismay on a golden shore
Where icesickles become tears and the rivers flow
