crying blossom blooms
over the hills near the gate
dogwood by the stone
note: the haiku traditionally has no title but for modern purposes the first one or two words of the poem are used. I did not choose a title based on my emotion....(I usually steer away from author's notes because it robs the reader of his/her interpretation).
Something kind of neat that worked out well, is the title and the history of the dogwood itself and where it has it's place in this particular poem.
