I had slid way back; didn't hear the altar call
was too busy in my fantasy world taking business calls
building myself up for a great fall
and then you came along
you tore down my castles made of dreams
And in their place put reality
Surpassed everything I had imagined
I took a deep breath, smiled and latched on
for the sweetest ride of my life...
someday I pray I'll be your wife
all the distortion and pain that lies deep inside
is but a shadow that seemed bigger with my ray of light
Your loving arms to hold me so secure and tight
there is nothing that cannot be cured
I am quite sure
That I am a walking miracle
An expensive one I said, and you chuckled
Baby you are my cure, my love of my life, everything I need
Love with you is gnarly and neat and everything on both sides, underneath, above
and in between..............................................
