you
kissed me
in the rain
and i wrote
love poems
for you
with stardust
as my
chosen ink.

sugar water
tears will
f a l l
should you
ever leave
me alone.

life without
you could
result in
excessive consumption
of vodka
or

one too
many pills
at once.

as usual,
side effects
are worse
than
the
drug.

This was impressive. That last stanza was a killer. I get short of breath reading your stuff sometimes. Keep 'em comin'.

"Sugar water tears will f a l l should you ever leave me alone." Very beautiful. This started gently, and then became a torrent right before the end, like the rain on Clearwater beach. Write on.
