Our
thunder beating
escalator hearts
are sewn together,
 darling.

You could
never fake
something so
imperfectly
sacred as
Us.

Your eyes
betray
your true
intentions.

You say that
you will leave,
but you
keep
 forgetting
to remove
your claws
from my
hand.

And even
if you tried
to go,
I couldn't
let you.

I'd have to
kill
you first.

That way
I could take
back what is
mine.
