I`m donning my mask
perfectly applied eyeliner
in black of course

your accusations run
through my head
along with my half
formed replies

i can never find the
right words to explain
how i feel

another night of laying
beside you trying to hold off
the emotions that wrip
through my skin like razorblades

trying not to touch
you because i dont want
the blood to mar your
perfection

I make myself beautiful
for you yet it`s never enough
to stop the insults that
dig deep into my brain
and plant themselves like roses
with the thorns pricking my skull

I cant cry away my pain
maybe because i recently
found out your not worth
My Mascara
