As the hours turn into days
still i have not seen your face
and i realize how hollow loneliness is

in the silence tears stream down my cheeks
blurring my words together
bringing everything to the surface

I`m drowning myself while you sit
oblivious to my sorrow

confined to a place I once believed
was my santuary

I`ve dreamt of you and in that dream
you held me
I wished so much for it to be real
I was denied

you`ve broken me
i am but a hollowed out figure
of whom i was before

My spirit burned to ash
and you never even noticed the match
that lay smoking at your feet

You crushed my heart and wander
through your days never seeing
the blood on your hands

How can you hate someone who is ignorant
to the harm he`s caused?

I CAN`T BUT I CAN DAMN SURE TRY!
